Implementation Engineer
Melbourne or Sydney
Up to $110k base + Super + $20.5k Car Allowance

About the opportunity:

A well known name in health technology is bringing on an Implementation Engineer to support the rollout of its clinical communication platform across hospitals and aged care providers nationally. It's a solid entry point for someone with an IT or engineering background looking to build a career in healthcare technology, with structured support from senior engineers and exposure to real hospital environments from day one.

What you'll be doing:

- Help install, configure and test communication systems as sites are brought live
- Shadow senior engineers through hospital rollouts, picking up how clinical teams actually use the tech day to day
- Support integration work touching nurse call, patient monitoring, EHR platforms and telephony
- Get involved in wireless site assessments and pick up the fundamentals of designing reliable, voice grade Wi Fi
- Progress into owning pieces of the system and specific client deliverables as you build experience
- Run training sessions for hospital IT and clinical staff




- Diagnose and resolve issues on live systems, feeding into broader optimisation work
- Partner with internal delivery teams to keep every rollout on standard for quality, security and client experience

What we need to see:

- A degree (completed or close to it) in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or similar
- Roughly 2 years of relevant hands on experience, could be a grad role, internship, IT support desk or similar
- Genuine openness to travelling and working on site in hospital settings
- Solid communication skills and real interest in the healthcare technology space
- Works well across mixed teams in fast moving, client facing environments

Bonus points:

- Any background in healthcare IT or systems integration
- Networking basics, think Wi Fi, TCP/IP, general troubleshooting
- Exposure to VoIP, telephony platforms or clinical systems
- Comfortable in Windows/Linux environments or with virtualisation
- Familiarity with HL7, Nurse Call systems or wireless survey tools
