Quality Manager at White Bay

White Bay is looking for a Quality Manager to oversee the development and ongoing enhancement of our Quality Management Systems at our headquarters in Australia and our international sites. This position is essential as we expand and navigate greater operational complexities, ensuring our electronic systems are dependable, safe, and adhere to compliance standards throughout their entire lifecycle.

What you'll do

- Direct the establishment and upkeep of Quality Management Systems to meet industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.




- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within a technology or defense environment.
- Proven track record of implementing Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement processes.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.

Nice to have

- Experience with electronic systems or defense technology.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQM).

Skills & tools

- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
