About the role
In the position of Engineering Team Lead, you will oversee a group of engineers focused on providing ICT solutions for the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System and associated initiatives. You will be integral to the engineering lifecycle, directing the design, implementation, acceptance, and ongoing support of sophisticated products while collaborating with Solution Architects to refine and enhance the product baseline.
- Direct a team in the development and execution of ICT capabilities for defense communication systems.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and maintenance of engineering projects.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of ICT systems and defense communication technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management tools and practices.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in engineering design software and tools relevant to ICT systems.
- Knowledge of defense industry standards and regulations.
- Experience in systems engineering and product lifecycle management.
