Start: 24th August, 12-month contract
Working hours: 35 hours/week (7 hours/day)
Pay Rate: $312.51 - $468.77 per day + super (depending on experience)
A NSW Government agency leading the state's disaster preparedness, recovery and reconstruction efforts is seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Analyst to shape how the organisation plans, designs and builds its workforce for the future. This is a high-autonomy, high-influence role, partnering directly with senior leaders to embed strategic workforce planning and organisational design practices across the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, coordination and implementation of the agency's short, medium and long-term workforce strategic plan and strategic workforce planning frameworks
- Develop and maintain workforce planning methodologies, tools and processes to identify capability gaps, workforce risks and opportunities
- Use workforce data, technology and analytical tools to report on workforce trends and people metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
- Lead organisational reviews,
workforce planning projects and organisational design initiatives to improve organisational effectiveness
- Partner with business leaders to identify workforce priorities and implement strategic workforce solutions
- Develop business cases and recommendations to support workforce investment decisions and organisational change
Essential Skills & Experience
- Substantial experience in strategic workforce planning, organisational design or organisational development, ideally within government or another large, complex organisation
- Demonstrated ability to use workforce data and analytics to inform executive-level decision-making
- Strong stakeholder influencing skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders without direct authority
- Experience developing business cases and leading organisational change or transformation initiatives
- Experience in strategy development, diversity and targeted employment programs
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
