Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practicesthat reduce reoffendingandconnect individuals toprograms,servicesand community. CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed responsible sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
About the role:
Case Managers in the Court Practice streamare responsible forapplying evidence-based case management practices to individuals at medium orhigh riskof reoffending.This role isrequiredto utilise case management practices to actively engage individuals and ensure responsive, targeted interventions toassistin reducing their risk of reoffending.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifyand evaluate factors that relate to individual offending behaviour
- Motivate and influence individuals in the case management process
- Produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines
- Monitor individual's compliance against order requirements
About you:
- demonstrates assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individualsexhibitingchallenging behaviours
- Builds positive working relationships and enjoys working in a small, close-knit team
- Understanding of case management practices relating to complex individuals
- Practices modelling pro social behaviours and motivates those around them
- Pays attention to words,expressionand body language;recognisesbehaviours that promote a culture of inclusion
