Practical Maintenance Services (PMS) is on the hunt for motivated Trades Assistants and General Hands who are ready to upskill, grow, and join a team that values hard work, development, and teamwork.

The Opportunity

This is more than a job, it is a chance to build a trade career with real pathways for growth.

You will work alongside qualified technicians and learn hands-on skills in:

- Duct cleaning
- HVAC decontamination
- Mould remediation and treatment
- Ductwork repairs and replacements
- Demolition and general maintenance tasks

All training is provided in small, team-focused environments. You will be guided every step of the way by experienced mentors who want to see you succeed.

Day shift work with occasional night shifts (with night shift loading) across the Pilbara region on a flexible FIFO roster from Perth.





What We're Looking For

We are after people with the right attitude : hardworking, positive, and ready to learn.

Essential:

- Reliable and physically fit (able to work in cramped spaces)
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Safety Conscious
- Eager to learn

Desirable (training costs can be covered for the right applicant)

- RioTinto inducted
- Hold a valid working at height ticket
- Confined Space & Working At Heights
- BHP, or FMG inductions
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol LAB test
- Experience in duct cleaning, HVAC, construction, or demolition
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol LAB test
