Studco Building Systems is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Croydon, Victoria. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and oversight of structural components for our range of creative building systems. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects alongside a talented team of engineering professionals.

What you'll be doing

Designing and analysing structural elements and systems for Studco's range of building products

Preparing structural calculations, drawings and reports to support the development and implementation of new products

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing and sales, to ensure the structural integrity and constructability of Studco's solutions

Providing technical support and advice to customers, partners and internal stakeholders

Staying up-to-date with relevant building codes, standards and industry best practices

Contributing to the continuous improvement of Studco's engineering processes and practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field

Experience





as a Structural Engineer, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industries

Demonstrated expertise in the design and analysis of steel, concrete and timber structures

Proficient in the use of structural analysis software, such as ETABS, RISA or SAP2000

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Thorough understanding of relevant building codes and standards, including the National Construction Code (NCC)

Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in Victoria
