The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director Corporate Support Services, you will lead the Procurement, Corporate Buildings and Fleet Branch through a period of continuous improvement and organisational maturity.This role is about much more than managing functions. It requires a leader who can establish clear processes, drive accountability, improve customer experience and ensure the branch operates with discipline, transparency and commercial rigour.
Key focus areas include:
- Creating structure, consistency and accountability across branch operations.
- Driving high-quality procurement, contract and supplier management practices.
- Improving internal service delivery and customer experience.
- Leading data-driven decision making, reporting and performance management.
- Ensuring corporate buildings and fleet assets are managed strategically and sustainably.
- Building capability within the team and promoting a culture of ownership, professionalism and continuous improvement.
- Partnering with leaders across Council to achieve practical, value-for-money outcomes.
