A well-established, independently owned veterinary referral and emergency group in Melbourne is seeking an experienced emergency veterinarian to join their ECC team. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and requires working across two locations in Melbourne.

The emergency departments sit at the core of these hospitals, working closely alongside specialist services in internal medicine, surgery and oncology. You will be supported by a highly experienced emergency team that includes multiple ANZCVS Emergency Membership veterinarians, many with over 10 years of ECC experience, as well as a skilled and dedicated nursing team. The environment is cooperative and learning focused, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, knowledge sharing and delivering a reliable, high-quality emergency service to both the public and referring practices.





The role is well suited to a veterinarian with at least two to three years of emergency and critical care experience who is confident managing routine emergency presentations independently and keen to further develop their skills with more complex cases under specialist guidance.

The roster is designed to be sustainable and includes a mix of day, evening, night and weekend shifts.

ANZCVS membership in ECC is welcomed, and support is available for those interested in working towards membership.

You will have access to advanced diagnostic and critical care equipment, including intensive care ventilators, blood gas analysis, cage-side ultrasound and on-site CT, with vets and nurses working closely together to deliver high standards of patient care.

Ongoing professional development is strongly supported through CPD allowance, study leave, structured mentorship, RECOVER certification, online learning platforms and regular clinical education sessions.
