Liquaforce (a RLFAgtech company) is seeking a Plant Technician to join our operations team in Mackay, Queensland. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst driving the manufacturing of our liquid fertiliser for local growers. This is a hands on position where you will be directly involved in blending, machinery operation and maintenance and liaising with our customers. This position is based in office at our Mackay facility.
The role has the potential to move to a permanent position and play a role in the expansion of the facility.
What you will be doing:
Mixing and manufacturing liquid fertiliser products to required specifications.
Handling raw materials and finished products safely and accurately.
Completing production records, delivery paperwork and stock documentation.
Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues or variances.
Keeping the plant, equipment and work areas clean, safe and maintained.
Supporting loading, unloading, deliveries and general plant operations as required.
The ideal candidate:
Proven experience as a plant technician or similar role within the manufacturing and production setting.
Knowledge of basic mechanical systems, equipment operation and maintenance principles
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
A safety-focused, reliable and cooperative approach.
Truck licence required.
Flexibility and reliability; weekend availability in peak season (August-December)
