About the Role

Join our Cancer Directorate team and play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Support Officer, you'll provide a broad range of administrative support across our outpatient services, helping ensure clinics run efficiently and patients receive a positive experience. Every day offers variety as you support clinicians, coordinate appointments, manage patient information and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional administrative and reception support across outpatient services
- Coordinate appointments, referrals and clinic activities




- Maintain accurate patient information across clinical systems
- Support clinicians with day-to-day administrative requirements
- Respond to patient and stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of patient care
- Prepare clinic documentation and maintain administrative records
- Provide flexible administrative support across the Cancer Directorate as required
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with administrative policies and procedures

About You

You're an organised, adaptable and customer-focused administrator who enjoys working in a busy healthcare environment. You can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with a wide range of people and take pride in providing accurate, compassionate support to patients and clinical teams.

- Experience in administration, ideally within a healthcare environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and electronic patient administration systems
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and continuous improvement
