As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our Allocations Team based in Maidstone . Shift time 12PM to 8:06pm
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive team, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient allocation of transport resources and the smooth delivery of services to our customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate metro deliveries and collections to support a seamless flow of goods
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships with a focus on service excellence
Optimise utilisation of assets and labour resources
Contribute to cost management initiatives by identifying and driving operational efficiencies
Quickly resolve live distribution issues, working closely with the Customer Service Team and customers to maintain service levels.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating agility, initiative, and attention to detail.
Skills & Experience
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in Transport and Logistics, with a strong understanding of industry operations and standards
Knowledgeable with Metropolitan routes and interstate logistics operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels
Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and compliance requirements is essential.
Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges
Working knowledge of HACCP principles, particularly within transport and food safety environments
Strong computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Professional and motivated, with a strong drive to achieve results
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in time-sensitive or high-pressure situations.
