About the role

Allboard Distributors are looking for a machine operator to operate a beam saw and an edge banding machine for the cabinet making industry, and also assist in store person duties as required, at our Hallam branch.

Allboard Distributors are a family owned and operated company that supply the Cabinet making, Shopfitting and Building trades with custom cut to size board products and hardware.

What you will be doing:

- Operating a beam saw to produce custom cutting pieces for customer
- Ensure correct product is used and correct sizing of pieces
- Operating a edge banding machine to apply finishing edging to pieces
- Clean and trim pieces to ensure a quality finish is achieved
- Operating a forklift to assist in unloading trucks and distribution of boards within the warehouse





At our Hallam branch you will be joining a team of 5 others to ensure the smooth running of distribution to the building trades, this team has seen steady growth over the years and your ability to work in a small team will be critical in ensuring continued growth.

Skills required for the role:

- Ability to operate a beam saw and an edge banding machine
- Forklift licence, preferred but not essential
