- Well-established pharmaceutical company based in Northern suburbs
- Seeking QC Analyst to join microbiology team to perform testing and analyse results
- 12-month contract
- Monday to Friday with standard working hours
- Perform microbiological testing on samples including bioburden, pour/spread/streak plating and membrane filtration
- Support the team to ensure that the assays performed in each department are prepared and executed in accordance with the code of GMP
- Perform result entry in Laboratory Information Management System
- Participate in investigation of out of specification results as required
- Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures.

About your duties:

- Perform microbiological testing on samples including bioburden, pour/spread/streak plating and membrane filtration

- Maintain adequate documentation system
- Perform result entry in Laboratory Information Management System
- Participate in investigation of out of specification results as required
- Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures.

About you:

- A Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience performing microbiological testing in a GMP or NATA accredited laboratory
- Previous experience in bioburden testing/membrane filtration highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and a excellent attitude.
