About the Role:
As a Garage & Industrial Door Technician, you will work in office at residential and industrial properties learning the process of installing, servicing, and repairing garage doors and related systems. You’ll be trained to ensure all doors are installed safely, operate smoothly, and meet company and manufacturer standards.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and can deliver excellent customer service.
What You’ll Learn in this Role:
- Install, service, and repair garage and industrial doors
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Work with motors, remotes, sensors, and control systems
- Follow industry safety standards and safe work practices
- Deliver professional customer service and technical support on-site
What We’re Looking For:
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Physically capable of lifting and installing doors and components
- Professional presentation and strong communication skills
- Valid NSW Manual Driver’s Licence
- Valid Construction White Card (or willing to obtain)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm with overtime as required
Predominantly travel throughout the Central West with occasional travel across NSW and overnight stays, as required.
On-call work once fully trained
