Accountant | Temp to Perm Opportunity
Melbourne CBD | Immediate Start | $55 - $60 per hour + super

FourQuarters are partnering with a well-established Australian organisation to recruit an experienced Accountant for an immediate temp-to-perm opportunity based in Melbourne CBD.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative finance team where you'll play a key role in supporting month-end activities, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring reporting deadlines are met. The business is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and, for the right person, there is the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

The Role

- Month-end close including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Assisting with cash flow and treasury-related activities
- Supporting financial reporting and compliance requirements




- Preparing BAS and assisting with statutory reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and resolving reconciliation issues
- Providing ad hoc support across the finance team as required

About You:

- CPA/CA qualified
- Previous experience as an Accountant or Financial Accountant
- Solid month-end accounting experience
- Excellent reconciliation and journal preparation skills
- Confident using Excel and financial systems
- Able to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Available to commence immediately or at short notice
