Due to an internal promotion, we have an immediateopening for an external Calibration Technician to join our fantastic laboratory team based out of our head office in Melbourne. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for conducting temperature and humidity calibration using the best accredited methods. You will also be involved in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of monitoring and measuring systems for some of the most interesting clients in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting onsite humidity calibration
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 (NATA) and ISO 9001 standards
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills




- Setting up equipment, and conducting tests as required
- Communicating with customers onsite regarding quotes, delivery, and test reports
- Accurate reporting and production of calibration reports

Ideally,you have experience in instrumentation and calibration and thrive onworking autonomously both in the office and onsite. Plus, you come with qualifications in Engineering, metrology or a related field and/ or prior experience as a Calibration Technician.

This role is best suited to a friendly, positive person who understands mechanical, physical and dimensional test equipment, has strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will need a valid Australian driver's license and car and full working rights.
