Role Title: Production Coordinator (Night Shift - 10pm - 6am)Contract: FTC - 12 MonthsReports to: Shift Production Lead & Head of ProductionAt Opella, we simplify self-care for real people. This role is where precision, consistency, and accountability come together to support our self-care revolution.About the Job:Support for the shift Production Lead in the coordination of people and processes to meet the production requirements as determined by the business and to support the supervision of the production operations on night shift for the Consumer business. This position ensures that production requirements are achieved safely, compliantly with quality systems and regulations, at the best cost.The focus of this position will also include upskilling of operators, continuous improvement of processes, equipment, work practices, and systems and delivery of projects under the direction of the Team Leader for the area.Priorities:Safety and Environmental ManagementContribute to the development and maintenance of a safe working environment by;Fulfilling responsibilities in accordance with HSE regulations, policies and proceduresEnsuring work practices comply with all HSE legislation, regulation and guidelinesAssisting in carrying out relevant internal investigations to determine the root cause and corrective action for injuries/workplace hazardsParticipating in HSE meetings where requiredEnsuring production work areas are clean and tidy, and associated plant, tools and equipment are appropriately maintainedAppropriate reporting and management of risks, including reporting of notifiable occurrences of environmental incidentsLeadershipProvide leadership and effective management to staff by; Leading the shift in the absence of the Production LeadSupporting production through the effective use of data, analysis and problem-solving toolsWorking with the Production Lead to maintain a workforce management plan that incorporates staffing requirements, training and development, and succession planningAlongside the Production Lead,



monitor and review the performance of the production teamsLead the shift in the absence of the Production Lead in all areas such as Safety, Quality, Conflict resolution, Production Output and corrective actionsHelp manage changes proactively and effectivelyHelp manage resources to maximise business outcomesNomination of employees for Reward and Recognition who have demonstrated exceptional performanceFinancial ManagementManage all financial aspects of the business unit by supporting the Production Lead in developing and implementing initiatives to reduce cost and maintaining the integrity of financial systems and other systems of data capture e.g. run sheetsContract ManagementSupport the management of contract labour used in production;Ensuring all contract employees are inducted and trained to Sanofi standardsEnsuring that contractors adhere to all relevant policies and proceduresContinuous ImprovementEffective support and leadership as required of the day to day production functions, improving productivity and reducing costsCompleting projects as agreed with the Production Lead to effect an improved business result across the scorecard of Safety, quality, service and costCustomer ServiceContribute to the development of a customer focused production department, including the maintenance of good relationships with other functional areas byDeveloping strong relationships with key internal and external customersMaintaining open lines of communication on all matters raised by employeesAttending to urgent matters as they ariseQuality ComplianceEnsure adherence to internal and regulatory quality systems byEnsuring that all work practices comply with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory guidelinesActively supporting and participating in the identification and implementation of strategies to improve site quality complianceAbout You:Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within FMCG, pharmaceutical,



food or beverage industries.Experience leading or coordinating production teams, ideally in a shift-based environment.Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems, workplace safety and continuous improvement.Demonstrated ability to use production data and problem-solving tools to improve performance.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to motivate and support teams.Organised and able to manage competing priorities in a quick-paced manufacturing environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (SAP or similar is advantageous).Willing and able to work permanent night shift (10:00pm – 6:00am).Personal AttributesHands-on, proactive and solutions focused.Strong leadership potential with the confidence to lead the shift when required.Calm under pressure with sound decision-making skills.Collaborative, accountable and committed to safety, quality and operational excellence.Passionate about developing people and driving continuous improvement.Simply put, we’re shaping a self-care revolution.
