Kami’s Barbershop is searching for an experienced Hairdresser with a background in men’s Barbering to join the team at our shop located in the Ashby Village Shopping WA 6065.

The successful applicant needs to be proficient in all aspects of men’s Barbering and lady’s Hairdressing techniques and tasks associated with operation of a hair salon.

All applicants must have successfully completed a Certificate 4 in Hairdressing or equivalent overseas qualification and have 2 years’ fulltime experience post qualification.

Applicants must be team players, have excellent communication skills and show a high level of professionalism. Our shop is a high paced working environment catering for walk-ins and bookings. The successful applicant will need to have the ability or willingness to learn an app-based point of sale and booking system.

THE ROLE

- Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, colouring, and styling
- Cutting hair with the use of scissors and razors
- Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
- Maintain the cleanliness of the salon and your station
- Keep on top of current hair-cutting and styling trends
- Help maintain an adequate inventory of hair products and tools
- Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
- Collect payments for salon services performed
- Provide advice on hair care, beauty products, and hairstyles
