An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Duty Manager to join the leadership team of a well-established hospitality venue located in one of Australia's premier entertainment and events precincts.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading from the front, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will play a key role in leading daily operations, developing your team, coordinating functions and events, and driving consistent service excellence across the venue., As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading Front of House operations and service delivery
- Coaching, mentoring and developing Hospitality Attendants
- Driving exceptional guest experiences and service standards
- Managing venue operations during busy service periods, functions and special events
- Coordinating private functions and events from enquiry through to execution
- Building strong communication between Front of House and Kitchen teams
- Managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
- Ensuring compliance with RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
- Assisting the Venue Manager in delivering strong commercial and operational outcomes
About the Candidate
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager,
Restaurant Supervisor or similar leadership position
- A strong background within fast-paced restaurant, pub, event or hospitality environments
- Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire teams
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- A genuine passion for customer service and guest experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
