RAM Security Locksmiths is looking for a motivated and skilled Security Technician to join our growing on-road service team based out of Hallam. This role is ideal for a qualified technician or a 4th-year apprentice looking to complete their qualification and continue developing their skills in the security industry.

The Role

You'll be working across Melbourne on a mix of residential, commercial and industrial jobs. Your duties will include:

- Install, commission and program a wide range of alarm/ security systems, CCTV systems, Intercoms, Access Control and Integrated systems
- Service, fault-find and provide preventative maintenance for both alarm and CCTV systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams and undertake site surveys
- Produce accurate service reports and documentation using mobile technology
- Liaise professionally with clients, and provide technical support
- Cooperate closely with the team to attend service call outs as they arise
- Work safely while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Assist other technicians and project teams when required

The Candidate

- Proven experience with electronic security systems and installation (ideally with knowledge of Integriti and Hikvision)




- Able to program a wide variety of access control panels
- Strong fault-finding skills and a practical mindset
- Takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Can work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable, professional and customer focused

Licences / Qualifications (must have or be willing to obtain)

- Current Drivers Licence
- White Card / OHS card
- Individual Security Licence
- Cabling Registration
- EWP Licence
- Working with Children's card
- Full Australian working rights
