Accounts and Administration Assistant (NDIS Focus)
As an Accounts and Administration Assistant, your role will have a focus on NDIS Account Support offering and providing assistance to ensure a seamless client experience in a warm and friendly manner. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and confidence in our services are essential in supporting the Network. The role is full time at 38 hours per week Monday, to Friday, 8.30am-4.45pm. Whilst this is a full-time position, flexibility for job share or part time options may be considered.
This is a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. We are looking for a team member who has a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn new skills and an ability to jump in and help when needed. Would suit an accounts graduate with admin experience, somebody returning to work with these abilities or a person looking to return to a previous set of skills.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to get involved in other areas of the business and support other team members when they are on leave. In return a great team workplace, oodles of support and a clear career pathway will be provided to the right candidate.
Daily Responsibilities
- Managing communications received from passengers, plan managers, coordinators and Geelong Radio Cabs staff.
- Ensuring all service agreements are in date, valid and have enough funds.
- Set up of new passenger service agreements.
- Maintain an accurate customer database.
- Handle all phone calls and passing email messages as required.
- Greeting customers at reception whilst creating a calm and friendly client experience.
- Assisting with the coordination of courses,
calendars and administration for training as required.
- Assisting in the co-ordination of driver and client record management (data entry) as required.
- Assisting with manual docket entry, including reconciliations as required.
- Administration allrounder to cover leave of other administrators across the business as and when required.
- Any other administrative tasks as required.
A minimum of 18 months experience in a similar role would be ideal. The position will require you to:

- Computer literate to intermediate level including (MS office suite, accounts software & internet).
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem solving and in exercising judgement.
- Self-directed attitude and the willingness to learn and grow your skills.
There is a requirement for the worker to hold an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and complete NDIS Induction Training. It is an advantage to the applicant if these requirements exist or the understanding that they must be undertaken immediately as they are a compulsory employment requirement.
