We have an opportunity for a Parts Interpreter to join our team based at Dubbo. Whether you already have experience in automotive, transport, warehousing or customer service, or you are keen to build a career in this space, this role offers the chance to learn, grow and become part of a supportive team that takes pride in delivering great outcomes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and professional support to customers across the counter, phone, email and other enquiry channels.
- Interpret customer needs and assist with identifying, quoting and supplying the right parts and accessories.
- Process customer quotes, orders, payments, invoices, credits and related documentation accurately.
- Build strong relationships with customers and support the growth of parts sales through reliable service and follow-up.
- Work closely with the Service Department and wider branch team to support daily operations.
- Assist with parts ordering, receipting, stock control, stocktaking and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Keep retail displays and promotions well presented, current and easy for customers to navigate.
About You:
- You are customer-focused, approachable and willing to learn.
- You have an interest in automotive, trucks, parts, machinery, warehousing, sales or customer service.
- You are organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities in a busy branch environment.
- You communicate clearly and are confident using computers or learning new systems.
- Previous parts interpreting or automotive industry experience will be highly regarded, but it is not essential for the right person.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence is preferred, and a forklift licence would be an advantage.
