We're looking for experienced Function Managers who are passionate about weddings, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys leading teams to deliver flawless events.

About the Role

As a Function Manager, you will be the face of the event on the day, ensuring every detail comes together seamlessly. You'll work closely with our Operations team, chefs, venue partners and casual event staff to deliver exceptional weddings and events that exceed our clients' expectations.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and creating memorable guest experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead the execution of weddings and premium events from setup through to pack down.
- Manage front-of-house teams, ensuring exceptional service and presentation.
- Brief and motivate event staff before each function.
- Coordinate with chefs, venue managers and suppliers to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Ensure event timelines are followed and service runs efficiently.
- Maintain Peter Rowland Group's high standards of food, beverage and customer service.




- Respond confidently to guest requests and resolve any issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Create a positive team culture where staff feel supported and motivated.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings energy, professionalism and genuine hospitality to every event.

You’ll have:

- Previous experience managing weddings, banquets or premium hospitality events.
- Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Current RSA certification (required).
- Experience working within premium catering, hotels, luxury venues or large-scale events will be highly regarded.
