About our Client and the Role:
Join a well-established, long-standing family business with a supportive and team-oriented team culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant to step into a part-time role offering autonomy, variety, and genuine long-term stability. Working closely within a small finance team of three, you’ll play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while contributing to a business that values reliability, accuracy, and initiative.

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, BAS/GST preparation and conducting cyclical audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Process fortnightly payments and manage the accounts inbox

Review and code invoices accurately in Xero





Complete bank and corporate card reconciliations

Record intercompany transactions and post journals

Manage supplier accounts and resolve AP queries

Support month-end finance tasks and reporting

Assist with KYC/AML and compliance administration

Provide general bookkeeping support to the finance team

To Be Considered You Must Have:

Minimum of 3+ years' experience within a similar role

Experience with BAS & GST lodgements, mandatory

Strong knowledge of XERO & Microsoft Suite, mandatory

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field

Weel experience, beneficial but not required

Australian PR or Citizenship, mandatory
