Compliance /Resource Development Officer

We’re a growing RTO under the Amtech Education banner, looking for a detail-driven professional to join our Quality Assurance team. This role sits at the intersection of compliance and quality — keeping our training and assessment resources compliant, current, and fit for purpose.

What You’ll Do

Content Review, Validation & QA

Conduct pre-assessment validation against unit of competency requirements, assessment principles, and VET Regulator Standards

Review content for gaps or non-compliance — and deliver clear, timely feedback

Monitor and review Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS) for compliance and funding alignment

Support audit and ASQA evidence preparation

Compliance & Regulatory Support

Ensure all resources comply with Standards for RTOs, the AQF, and Queensland funding requirements

Maintain compliance records, resource registers, and continuous improvement documentation





Stay current with training package and regulatory changes — and act on them

Trainer & Assessor Support

Maintain the Trainer/Assessor matrix including PD and industry currency documentation

Contribute to PD activities that build trainer and assessor capability

Who We’re Looking For

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)

Experience reviewing and maintaining training and assessment materials in the VET sector

Sound knowledge of training packages, Standards for RTOs, and the AQF

Assessment validation knowledge and a high level of attention to detail

Robust written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

LMS experience, AVETMISS knowledge, or background in Queensland funded training

Experience supporting internal audits or ASQA reviews
