About the role:

We are seeking an experienced building & pest inspector to join our team in Ballarat. Successful applicants will use their building & pest inspection experience and qualifications to conduct pre-purchase and new home construction stage inspections.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

- Pre-purchase building & pest Inspections




- Construction Stage Inspections (non-certifying)
- Complete detailed assessment reports using our user-friendly software
- Noting building defects, pests, defective building work or maintenance-related issues
- Professional presentation and communication with clients at all times.

Skills/Requirements:

- A registered builder or inspector with a minimum of 3 years of experience (essential)
- Knowledge of theBuilding Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards and NCC
- Attention to detail, major as well as minor defects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as a qualified
- Keen to work independently, representing our brand
- Must be able to inspect roof spaces and subfloor areas
- Drivers License and a reliable car
- Computer/iPad literate
- Competent in plan reading
- Available to travel withinthe Melbourne metro
