About the role
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Buying Administration professional to join the Minimax Buying team in Burwood. This full-time role plays a crucial part in the efficient management and coordination of our inventory processes, supporting stores across the business.

What you'll be doing
In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the buying team, enabling the Buyers to focus on sourcing the best ranges and offers for our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitor orders and liaise with suppliers to keep deliveries on time and product data accurate
- Co-ordinate stock replenishment and repeat orders based on rate of sale
- Set up and maintain new items in our POS and online store systems
- Support the Buyer with new product and range introductions
- Be the first point of contact for store queries
- Produce accurate Excel-based sales, stock and margin reporting
- Track competitor pricing and promotions to help inform pricing decisions
- Support the Buyer in coordinating marketing activity
- Identify and help implement ways to automate and streamline reporting to save time across the team
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a buying or administrative support role within retail or consumer products
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP); exposure to Power BI or Power Query highly regarded
Experience with inventory management systems
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
A proactive problem solver who shows initiative and adapts well to changing circumstances
