WHO WE ARE

Kasmo Design, the home of Morgan & Taylor is a Kensington-based design and product house running multiple brands. We're looking for a Designer / Product Coordinator to join our accessories team and take real ownership of range curation - from original design through to sourcing and developing stock product.

THE ROLE

You'll help build our accessory ranges - through original design and through sourcing and curating stock product - working closely with the production team and directly alongside a senior team member from concept through to sample approval and launch. You'll take ownership of the design and range-building work from day one, with hands-on mentorship as you grow into the client-facing and negotiation side of the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design & Product Development
- Conduct trend research and market analysis to develop customer-relevant product and identify market gaps
- Create mood-boards, collection stories, and trend boards to support collection development and communication
- Work with the internal production team to source, cost, negotiate, and develop products for each season and client
- Maintain range data and spreadsheets as a single point of truth for up-to-date product information
- Manage samples and QC approvals for a seamless production process
- Report and analyse product performance, translating data into actionable product decisions
- Work within Adobe Suite to create mock-ups and CADs
- Ensure all products align with brand voice and customer

- Wholesale & Client Support (supported by a senior team member)
- Work with external clients to help build ranges relevant to their customers and brands
- Help pitch ideas and create moodboards or mockups to support buyer decision-making
- Build stakeholder relationships over time, with direct guidance on pricing conversations and resolving product or quality issues
- Brief new ranges to the wholesale team, including key features and advantages

- Take on feedback from the wholesale team to identify opportunities and adjust product where commercially relevant

- Marketing & Creative Support
- Brief new collections and samples to the marketing and online teams for handover
- Brief relevant samples for ecommerce photography and manage samples to and from photoshoots
- Support shoot days, ensuring product is represented accurately
- Work with the marketing team to flag promotional opportunities or slow-moving product

- Cross-Team Alignment
- Work with internal teams to map critical path timelines for seamless product launches
- Flag potential critical path issues early and help problem-solve with the team
- Help refine internal processes to improve efficiency and collaboration

KEY SKILLS

- A strong eye for design, trend, and range curation - this is at the heart of the role
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
- Confident in Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop
- Collaborative, with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments and with external clients
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Clear written and verbal communication - confidence pitching ideas and coordinating with clients will be built through direct mentorship, not expected on day one
- Strong commercial judgement and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office
- Print design and development experience is a bonus, not a requirement

ABOUT YOU

A genuine passion for design, with an instinct for what makes a range work commercially

Enjoy a collaborative environment and want to understand how the different parts of a business connect

Comfortable growing into client-facing and negotiation responsibilities with direct, hands-on support - you won't be thrown in the deep end

Keep a pulse on what's happening in the industry and can translate that into commercial, on-trend ideas

A mix of instinct and analytics - comfortable backing your design choices with research or sales data
