An award-winning specialist law firm is seeking an Accounts Officer to join its Brisbane CBD office.

Reporting to the Head of Central Operations and working closely with the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role supporting the firm's finance function across trust accounting, billing, payroll and financial administration. This is a hands-on position offering variety, responsibility and ongoing development within a collaborative team environment.

Duties

- Process trust accounting transactions and reconciliations
- Assist with trust compliance and reporting requirements
- Coordinate client billing and invoice processing
- Manage accounts receivable and debtor collections
- Support payroll administration and employee records
- Reconcile company accounts and credit cards
- Monitor finance enquiries and provide timely support
- Assist with reporting, audits and process improvements
- Support the transition to new business systems

Skills & Experience

- Strong accounts administration experience




- Trust accounting experience highly regarded
- Billing and accounts receivable experience
- Payroll administration experience
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Salary package of $70,000 - $90,000 + super (dependent on experience)
