We're looking for an experienced Salon Manager to lead our Canberra salon—someone who is passionate about developing people, driving business performance and creating an outstanding experience for every client.

A minimum of two years' leadership or management experience is essential.

Beauty Therapy qualifications and industry experience are highly regarded, however we are open to experienced leaders from the beauty, retail or service industries who share our passion for people and customer experience.

About the Role

As Salon Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the salon. You'll lead your team to deliver exceptional client experiences while ensuring the salon operates efficiently, achieves financial targets and maintains the high standards Brazilian Butterfly is known for.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll balance people development, operational excellence and commercial performance.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Drive salon performance by achieving revenue, productivity and profitability targets.

Manage salon operations including rostering, stock control, wage management and daily administration.

Monitor financial performance, analyse key business metrics and identify opportunities for growth.

Recruit,



onboard and develop team members to maximise engagement and performance.

Deliver exceptional customer experiences that encourage loyalty and long-term client relationships.

Maintain high operational, presentation and compliance standards throughout the salon.

About You

You'll be a motivated and commercially minded leader who enjoys bringing out the best in people.

You'll have:

A minimum of two years' experience leading or managing a team in a salon, beauty, retail or customer service environment.

Proven experience coaching and developing team members to achieve individual and business goals.

Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage KPIs, wage costs, budgets and business performance.

Experience managing inventory and stock efficiently while maintaining operational excellence.

Outstanding organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

The confidence to make decisions, provide feedback and lead with consistency.

Beauty Therapy qualifications or industry experience are preferred but not essential for the right leadership candidate.
