About the role
As a Teaching Fellow (Counselling),you'lljoin the School ofEducation and CommunityWellbeing,whereyou'llinspire and support the next generation ofcounsellingprofessionals.You willbe teachingsubjects acrossBachelorof Counselling,GraduateCertificate inCounsellingGraduateDiplomainCounsellingand Master of Counselling.
You’ll combine outstanding teaching practice with digital capability, learning design and innovation to create learning experiences that are flexible, engaging andcentredaround student success.

Whatyou'llbring
Master's degree in Counsellingor a related disciplinerequired; a PhD (completed or in progress) is preferred.
Demonstratedrelevantcounsellingindustry experienceis a MUST.
ACA registration is preferred, or the ability to obtain registration upon appointment.
Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environmentsin HigherEducation
Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching
Confidence using, or enthusiasm for adopting, AI-enabled approaches in education
Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities
A student-centredapproach to teaching and learning
Strong communicationand collaboration skills
A growth mindset and commitment to continuous skilled learning
Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion)
