On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency we are looking for experienced Instructional Designers with a passion for creating engaging, high-quality learning experiences to join a collaborative team delivering innovative learning solutions that make a real impact.
The Role
You’ll design and develop contemporary learning programs that support frontline teams through a blend of eLearning, virtual, face-to-face and on-the-job learning solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll translate business needs into engaging, accessible training that drives capability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging learning content, including eLearning, facilitator guides, learner resources and blended learning solutions.
- Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend effective training solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure learning programs meet business objectives.
- Develop accessible learning materials aligned with WCAG standards.
- Create content using Articulate Rise, Storyline and Microsoft Office.
- Support facilitation and train-the-trainer activities where required.

To be considered, you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design and learning development.
- Strong skills in Articulate Rise and Storyline.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and blended learning methodologies.
- The ability to simplify complex information into engaging, user-friendly content.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and consultation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in an agile environment.
Highly Regarded
- 3+ years' experience in Learning & Development.
- Qualifications in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Adult Education or Training (TAE desirable).
- Experience developing learning for operational or frontline environments.
- Knowledge or lived experience of disability or accessibility.
- Experience with emerging learning technologies and digital learning solutions.
What's on Offer
- $55.24 per hour + Super
- 37.5-hour working week
- Hybrid working arrangements
- Geelong location
- Contract through to 31 December
