What you'll do

- Support the planning phases of various transport initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community groups, to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and identify potential risks.
- Participate in project meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on your expertise.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of safety and sustainability in all project activities, promoting best practices within the team.




- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your project management skills and knowledge of the transport sector.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules using project management software, ensuring all tasks are tracked and completed efficiently.
- Assist in stakeholder engagement activities, including public consultations and community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

- At least 3 years of experience in project management or a closely related field.
- A relevant degree in engineering, project management, or a comparable discipline is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software to track progress and manage resources.
- A solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.




- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
- Familiarity with risk management processes and techniques in project execution.

Nice to have

- Previous experience in the transport or infrastructure sectors would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of government project processes, policies, and regulations is a plus.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be beneficial.
- Experience with community engagement and public consultation processes.
- Understanding of environmental sustainability practices in project management.

- Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
