We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partieto join our team in Melbourne CBD

About the Role

An excellent opportunityexists for a creative chef, to be part of our team in ourCBD location, Lunch & Dinner service Mondayto Friday.

We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service and an excellent restaurant and function experience where the aim is to always exceed our customers' expectations. The successful applicant will work closely with our Group Executive Chef & Head Chef to learn the techniques of the trade and venue including but not limited to:

- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies




- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Preparing and cooking food
- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

This is an excellent prospect to develop, whilst creating and consistently delivering the highest quality dining experience. The successful applicants must be passionate and:

- AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Minimum 1 years work experience.
- Be technically proficient in all areas of kitchen operation.
- Be very well presented
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment
- Have outstanding communication skills
- Be reliable and punctual
- The desire to be part of an outstanding, dynamic and growing company
- Availability on Weekends
