Your new role
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Finance team as Finance Officer on a full-time ongoing basis. Reporting to the Manager - Finance, the role will manage the financial transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and related reporting and analysis. This includes ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Duties include:
- Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and ensuring adherence to payment terms.
- Ensure full compliance with IBAC policies and procedures,
including the Standing Directions under Financial Management Act 1994.
- Reconcile vendor and customer statements to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly reports and maintain dashboards related to accounts payable and receivable.

About you
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field would be highly regarded.
- Proven minimum three years’ experience in accounts payable and receivable functions in Victorian Government sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in the use of accounting or financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work with precision and accuracy.
Citizenship – to be eligible for employment with IBAC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
