Geelong Diesel Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in North Geelong, VIC. As a full-time Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment, ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

- Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of diesel-powered trucks and machinery
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide accurate estimates
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we’re looking for

- Formal qualifications in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Qualified Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills




- Familiarity with up-to-date diesel engine technologies and diagnostic toolsEffective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Must be an Australian permanent resident
