Dott & Crossitt is looking for an experienced Solicitor / Conveyancer to run their own portfolio of residential, commercial and off-the-plan matters, with real autonomy and genuine support behind them. If you're passionate about conveyancing, delivering exceptional client experiences and thrive in a rapid-paced, people-focused environment, this could be the role for you.

Location: St Kilda – relocating to Melbourne CBD late 2026 (hybrid role, with 3 days per week WFH) and if your based regionally, we're genuinely open to fully remote for the right person!

We’re a national law firm that’s growing quickly because we do conveyancing properly — not just fast. You'll join a team that gives you the tools, the support and the trust to manage your files your way.

What You'll Do

- Manage your own portfolio of residential, commercial and off-the-plan conveyancing files end to end

- Prepare and review contracts, and explain the process clearly to clients along the way

- Be the go-to expert on Victorian property legislation, compliance and process

- Coordinate with clients, agents, brokers, lenders and solicitors to keep things moving

- Run settlements through PEXA and our digital platforms

- Flag risks early and help us keep improving how we work

- Manage a caseload that’s busy but realistic,



with paralegal and admin support so you’re not doing it alone

What You'll Bring

- Licensed Conveyancer or Practising Certificate, required

- Minimum 2–3 years' conveyancing experience running your own files

- Solid grasp of VIC property law, contracts and the end-to-end conveyancing process

- Confidence with PEXA (experience with triConvey is a bonus, not a must)

- Strong communication skills — you can explain the complex stuff simply, even when things get busy

- Someone who's organised, reliable and takes pride in getting the details right
