Join a progressive mixed farming enterprise in Western Victoria

Delta Pastoral Enterprises is seeking an experienced and passionate Livestock Manager to oversee the day-to-day livestock operations across our 4,000-hectare Berrybank aggregation in South West Victoria.

This productive enterprise combines a large-scale cropping operation with a 6,000-head self-replacing Primeline ewe flock , providing an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with livestock while contributing to the ongoing success of a well-managed agricultural business.

Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a key role in livestock production, pasture management and seasonal planning while leading daily farm activities.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced livestock professional who has excellent sheep husbandry skills, owns working dogs and enjoys working as part of a small, committed team.

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing the day-to-day care and welfare of the sheep flock
- Animal health monitoring and husbandry using low-stress stock handling practices
- Managing pastures and fodder crops
- Assisting with seasonal operations including lambing, shearing and livestock planning
- Operating and maintaining a variety of farm machinery and equipment
- General farm maintenance including fencing and infrastructure repairs
- Working closely with the General Manager to plan and deliver operational activities
- Liaising with contractors,



suppliers and service providers
- Maintaining accurate farm records and reporting activities

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrated experience across all aspects of sheep production
- Strong knowledge of animal health, welfare and best-practice husbandry
- Experience operating and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery
- Your own well-trained working dogs
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- A current Australian Driver Licence
- A genuine passion for livestock and agriculture
