About the role:
TheTeacher-TAEis responsible fordeveloping resources and assessment tools to support this delivery and for developing and maintainingrelationships with industry and key government bodies.
The successful applicant willbe requiredto work as a team member and teach within the Short Courses team and service areas.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Minimum teaching qualification of Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to plan and deliver TAE courses both online and in person.
- Ability to research and developappropriate teachingmaterials and methods of assessment and adapt delivery and assessment to meet student needs usingappropriate technologyin a diverse teaching workplace.
- Knowledge of current trends in the industry and a network of industry contacts.
- Ability to contribute to, and be a part of, the teams working within the Short Course Team and ability to co-operate and communicate effectively with Institute staff,studentsand industry personnel.
