About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists for experiencedNICU nursesto join our progressive and innovative Newborn Services team.

There are approximately7500 deliveries per year at Western Health andNewborn Services admitsnearly 2000 patients a year. Newborn Services currently has 6 NICU beds as well as a combination of HDU and SCN beds, totalling 36 inpatient beds.

Key responsibilities:

- Take accountability for your own actions and others under direction.
- Role model behaviour consistent with the professional Code of Conduct and organisational values.
- Demonstrate accountability and responsibility for care delivered.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and families.

About you:

- 12 months minimum of Australian Neonatal Intensive Care.
- Excellent time management, communication skills and attention to detail.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Family-centred care approach.
- Postgraduate Certificate/or Neonatal Intensive Care experience (highly desirable).
