About the role

We’re looking for a leader who will support the Centre Manager in investing time and energy in building a strong, capable team—supporting quality practice, strengthening pedagogy, and guiding educators toward meaningful professional goals.

About our centre

Futuro provides high-quality education and care for 127 children, operating 6:30am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday. Designed by a leading architect, the service features modern learning spaces and high-quality, age-appropriate resources.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and strengthen practice across Quality Area 1, supporting high-quality programming, planning, and documentation.
- Coach and mentor educators through reflective practice,



role modelling, and collaborative professional conversations.
- Embed a safe, inclusive, and responsive environment for every child—supporting strong supervision, effective routines, and respectful relationships.
- Champion a learning culture inspired by Reggio Emilia, where play-based learning and children’s voices are central.
- Work in a distributed leadership model—partnering with room leaders and other Educational Leaders to drive consistency and improvement.
- Support child-safe practices by reinforcing clear expectations, identifying risks early, and escalating concerns appropriately.

About You

- Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, and Food Handling Certificate.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in an early learning environment.
- A strong commitment to high-quality education and care, and a genuine belief that child safety is everyone’s responsibility.
- You value growth—through professional learning, feedback, and reflective practice—and you contribute positively to team culture.
