RAM XPRESS PTY LTD The purpose of the Retail Manager position at RAM XPRESS PTY LTD is to manage and oversee the daily operations of the company’s retail fuel outlet, convenience store, and food service operations. The role is responsible for ensuring smooth store performance, effective staff supervision, strong customer service, appropriate stock control, supplier coordination, sales growth, and compliance with workplace health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

The Retail Manager will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, and controlling the day-to-day operations of RAM XPRESS PTY LTD’s retail business. The role involves managing sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, staff performance, customer service, budgets, supplier relationships, and store presentation. The Retail Manager will ensure that the business operates efficiently, maintains high service standards, meets customer expectations, and supports the company’s ongoing growth and profitability.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies and marketing plans, while setting appropriate pricing for products and services.
- Planning and organising the product range, including deciding stock levels and maintaining service quality standards.
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
- Monitoring inventory, performing regular stock checks, and maintaining accurate records of stock and financial transactions.
- Preparing budgets, managing expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Promoting and advertising products and services to attract customers and increase sales.
- Selling goods and services while assisting customers and providing guidance on product usage.
- Handling customer feedback and resolving complaints to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Recruiting, training,



and supervising staff to ensure efficient performance and productivity.
- Ensuring all activities comply with occupational health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) in Business, Retail Management, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail or customer service management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Knowledge of inventory control, sales processes, and basic financial management WORKING HOURS Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
