Key Responsibilities

- End-User Computing: Execute the provisioning and deployment of standardized corporate laptops, desktops, and peripherals. Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex hardware and software malfunctions escalated from the Service Desk.
- Computer Imaging & Application Packaging: Assist with the maintenance of the standard computer image , performing necessary updates and testing. Assist the team with basic application packaging and deployment testing.
- Change Management: Follow established change management procedures for all endpoint deployments and configuration updates, documenting changes accurately.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Assist with the enrollment and basic troubleshooting of mobile devices within the MDM system.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all deployed devices adhere to basic security baselines (e.g., anti-virus installation, local firewall settings).
- Virtualization:



Assist with the creation, cloning, and basic configuration of virtual machines (VMs) according to standard templates.

Special Responsibilities

- Global Infrastructure Partnership (Remote Hands): Serve as the in office engineering resource, partnering directly with global network and infrastructure teams to receive, inventory, and physically install enterprise hardware.
- Data Center Operations: Manage local racking, stacking, and low-voltage patching workflows. Maintain absolute ownership of the physical layer (cabling, labeling, and rack hygiene) within the local office and associated COLO facilities.
- Hardware Provisioning Assistance: Establish direct console/serial connections to local switches, firewalls, and servers to facilitate out-of-band management configuration and remote troubleshooting by centralized engineering teams.
- Global Services Monitoring and Response: Provide global services monitoring and response to system outages and patch management for locations across the globe.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

- Knowledge: Solid understanding of Windows operating system deployment processes. Practical experience with Active Directory/Entra ID for managing computer objects and user permissions. Some understanding of Windows Servers highly desired.
- Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for desktop and application issues. Proficient in remote support and diagnostic tools. Windows server infrastructure experience.
- Training/Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent experience is highly desired.
- Physical Infrastructure Experience: 2+ years of experience performing "remote hands" activities, including physical racking/stacking of IT hardware, structured network cabling, and leveraging serial console connections to triage network or server assets alongside remote teams. Must be comfortable operating as the sole IT representative in the region.
