The TRUSTEE FOR DAHAL TRUST Located in HomeCo. Tuggerah, The Shed Café is a fast-paced, high-volume cafe known for exceptional coffee, high-quality food, and outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team and assist in managing daily culinary operations.

Task & responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality cafe dishes, daily chef specials, sauces, and soups to exact standards.
- Accommodate customer dietary preferences and allergy requirements with tailored recipe modifications.
- Manage kitchen stock levels, food costs, portion control, and wastage.
- Ensure strict compliance with safe food handling regulations, WHS policies, and hygiene standards.




- Collaborate effectively with floor staff and managers to maintain efficient kitchen service.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and updating offerings to align with food trends.

Qualification & experience

- Education: Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (Diploma of Hospitality Management highly regarded).
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef in a quick-paced cafe or restaurant.
- Technical Skills: Strong knife skills, culinary expertise, menu costing knowledge, and stock control ability.
