Later this year, Lexus of Blackburn will unveil a fully rebuilt, state-of-the-art dealership on our existing site — designed to elevate every aspect of the Lexus ownership experience. This is not a new business — it’s the transformation of an established, high-performing dealership.

As part of this growth, we are expanding our Service Department and seeking a Qualified Technical Advisor to join our high-performing workshop team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a premium brand in a structured, process-driven environment where quality, teamwork and efficiency are genuinely valued.

About the Role

As the Technical Advisor, you'll be the dealership's technical expert, providing support to our workshop technicians while ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to Lexus standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle faults.

- Providing technical guidance and support to workshop technicians.

- Mentoring the workshop team and assisting technicians with complex repairs.





- Organising and coordinating technical training for technicians and apprentices.

- Liaising with Lexus Australia Technical Support on advanced cases.

- Assisting with warranty and technical reporting.

- Ensuring repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer procedures.

- Supporting workshop productivity and first-time fix rates.

- Maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

- Qualified Automotive Technician.

- Previous experience as a Senior Technician, Master Technician or Technical Advisor.

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.

- Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring abilities.

- A current driver’s licence.

- A positive attitude and passion for developing others and continuous learning.
