Job Title: Engineering Manager

Hudson is partnering with a global software organisation in the retail sector used across thousands of stores worldwide. They are hiring for a sharp Engineering Manager to lead cross‑functional engineering teams delivering high-volume, transaction‑critical products, self‑service, mobile, and retail operations platforms. This is an opportunity to join a business shifting toward a modern engineering‑led operating model where Engineering owns delivery end to end.

Requirements

- A current Engineering Manager that has strong software engineering foundations with experience delivering production systems at scale
- Previous leadership experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or senior engineer owning delivery outcomes
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery, SDLC, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices
- Ability to lead technical discussions while communicating effectively with non‑technical stakeholders




- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced and evolving environments, navigating ambiguity and a start‑up up
- Someone that commercially applying AI tooling in engineering workflows, CI/CD, delivery, and productivity improvements
