About the Role
As a NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting participants to understand, implement, and maximise their NDIS plans. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, and service providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement NDIS plans and budgets, ensuring timely access to supports and services
- Work closely with participants and their families/guardians to understand individual needs and goals
- Advocate on behalf of participants and support informed decision‑making
- Manage and resolve complex situations with a proactive,
solution‑focused approach
- Build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders, including service providers and community partners
- Communicate effectively across all levels, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Prepare high‑quality reports and documentation in a timely manner
- Adapt communication styles to meet individual participant needs
- Promote choice and control, empowering participants in their care
- Ensure compliance with NDIS legislation, policies, and best practice standards
About You
We are looking for someone who is driven to make a difference and thrives in a dynamic, client‑focused environment.
You will bring:
- Minimum 1 year full‑time (or equivalent) experience in a Support Coordination role. Candidates with NDIS, LAC, or service coordination experience are also encouraged to apply
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage complex cases
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- A flexible, adaptable approach to working with diverse individuals
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- A proactive, solution‑focused mindset
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and respect
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Relevant qualification in Disability, Social Work, or Allied Health (desirable, not essential)
