The Consultant Psychiatrist Will Join a Specialist Mental Health Service Delivering Care Across a Diverse Range Of Forensic And Secure Environments, Including

- High-security inpatient units
- Secure rehabilitation services
- Extended treatment programs
- Prison-based mental health services
- Statewide services for individuals with intellectual disability




- Provide senior medical leadership within a high-security inpatient forensic setting
- Deliver expert psychiatric assessment, treatment, and risk management
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, coordinated, high-quality care
- Contribute to clinical governance , service development, and quality improvement
- Supervise and educate medical and clinical staff, supporting workforce development
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care
- Promote evidence-based, recovery-oriented practice in a secure environment
