About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join ourCorporate sector team in Sydney. The role will support ourTechnology, Corporate, TMT and Employment teams.

This role works closely with partners, lawyers and clients inbusiness development initiatives. The role develops, implements anddrives the BD initiatives across the portfolios, with particularfocus on innovative and creative initiatives.

The role focuses on seeking opportunities to enhance theportfolios by taking a creative approach to client service, bidprocesses and innovation in business development.

Responsibilities

- Develop, own and implement a business developmentstrategy.
- Identify areas of future development and enhancement of thefirm’s capabilities.
- Lead the development, implementation and ongoingimprovement of the client and sector strategy.
- Engage and collaborate with and be the go to person for theroles specific partners and senior lawyers on initiatives todevelop and grow their practices.
- Play a key part in the ongoing improvement of the BDfunction.

About you

- 8 -10 years’ experience working in a similar role within acorporate or skilled services environment
- Strong commercial acumen, including the ability tocontribute to pricing considerations and understand complexdelivery and commercial models.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focusedmindset.
- Able to build credibility with senior stakeholders,including partners, and to advise, influence and collaborateeffectively across teams and jurisdictions.
- A degree in marketing, commerce, business or a relateddiscipline,



or equivalent experience is desired but notessential.
